EVERY FLOWER HAS FIVE OR SIX PETALS
A UNIQUE FLOWER
We wish to blossom like single Flowers. Each of us blossoms in a different way. An open and warm group will create a sheltered space, in which everybody can simply Be. It provides a fertile ground on which each of us can open and show himself or herself; on which the Becoming of every single person has its beginning.
THE INDIVIDUAL AND THE GROUP
ONLY AN APPARENT CONTRADICTION
The Individual and the Group stand only in apparent contradiction to each other. Don’t we actually wish to be seen and accompanied on our Journey? Isn’t our journey only complete, when, once blossomed, we can be the generous and modest ground for others to blossom from?
On the other hand, groups can also build a prison whose bars are so close to one another that the individual cannot escape. One would like to bend them and simply escape.
Such groups are weak groups because they fear the strength and individuality of the single person. Weak groups require weak members: people who prefer to get orders from above and who wish to adapt to the community. But not strong members, who are actually ready to bring to life their particular personality traits and to live their deepest Self in the community.
Groups of schoolmates, teachers, workers, adolescents, unemployed people, vacation groups, self-help or support groups (for drug addicts, alcoholics, people with handicaps or mental illnesses, ex-convicts, etc.) are very often stuck in the conflict between the individual and the group.
People look for a group to feel at home in. The individual who wants to develop himself or herself personally and emotionally thanks to this protection, but is not supported by the group, will very often leave the weak group. Nevertheless, he or she cannot develop due to his or her isolation. For others the disappointment transforms into passivity, they stay in the group but their true Self remains hidden somewhere else.
Our tired old habits and roles can already start to dissolve after a Weekend Seminar or a weekly group meeting. During the seminar new behaviour is formed and unknown aspects of oneself are challenged to come out. The new direction to take can be indicated in the course of the seminar.
The series of seminars WordSoundBody (WortKlangKörper) will be dedicated to allowing experiences during the day in the same way as during the night.
